Paula Lawson, Kitchen Assistant

Our most loyal employees, including her stint at the old Rydges before the earthquake, Paula has been a kitchen assistant with us for nearly 15 years! And she hasn’t lost any enthusiasm for her work. When we asked her to tell us something about herself, she said she just loved working with the team here washing dishes.

Paula is so lovely and we are very lucky to have her – she’s the Mum of the kitchen!

"We have eaten with you at least 9 times and we have had most steaks on your menu including the incredible Chateaubriand. We had great starters followed by the 180g Beef Fillet which turned out to be the best cooked and quality steak we have eaten anywhere - it was melt in  your mouth. We also had great desserts and thought this Prix Fixe was fabulous."
